American Express sponsors ONE X ONE benefit gala, offers cardmembers priority access to tickets

MARKHAM, ON, July 26 /CNW/ - American Express® Canada is pleased to
announce its sponsorship of the ONE X ONE benefit gala hosted by Academy Award
winner Matt Damon, and featuring musical performances by a line-up of
international stars including Wyclef Jean and Shakira. As part of its
sponsorship, American Express Cardmembers have exclusive access until July
31st to never before publicly offered tickets to ONE X ONE through the Amex
Front Of The Line® program.
The third annual ONE X ONE benefit gala supports the ONE X ONE
Foundation, a charitable organization committed to fighting poverty and
preserving the lives of children in Canada and around the world. This year,
the organization is honouring those who support children in need locally and
globally, including Richard Gere, Petra Nemcova, Chief Phil Fontaine and
Sarah, Duchess of York.

Front Of The Line by American Express is one of the exclusive benefits
available to all American Express Cardmembers, offering them special access to
tickets to the hottest events across Canada before they go on sale to the
public. In addition to ONE X ONE, Cardmembers have had the opportunity this
year to get advance tickets to concerts by leading acts such as Aerosmith,
Rogers Waters of Pink Floyd, sold out performances by Canadian comedian
Russell Peters, sporting events like the Rogers Cup tennis championships, The
Stratford Festival, touring Broadway shows across Canada like Mamma Mia, and

ONE X ONE 2007 takes place at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing
Arts on September 9, 2007. All proceeds raised through Front Of The Line
ticket sales for this event will go to the ONE X ONE Foundation, and American
Express is waiving its regular service charge on ticket sales for this event.
