American Express to donate to flood relief in Alberta

MARKHAM, ON, June 27, 2013 /CNW/ - American Express today announced that it is contributing $25,000 in support of the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts towards communities across Alberta impacted by the recent severe flooding.

"Our thoughts are with our employees, customers and all the residents of Alberta who have been impacted by this devastating flood," said Howard Grosfield, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amex Bank of Canada.  "It's inspiring to see the Canadian community pull together in support of those who have been affected by this disaster, and we hope that our contribution will help in the greater effort to rebuild the region."
