Cardmembers can earn more cash back than ever before, with no limit on their earning potential
TORONTO, April 12, 2017 /CNW/ - American Express Canada today introduces its refreshed SimplyCash™ Preferred Credit Card into the Canadian market, enabling Cardmembers to earn more cash back than ever before. Whether it's making an everyday purchase or buying a big-ticket item, Cardmembers who carry the SimplyCash Preferred Credit Card from American Express can now earn 2% cash back on any purchase, any day.

With the SimplyCash Preferred Credit Card, Cardmembers are able to earn more cash back on their purchases. The refreshed Card continues to offer an introductory cash back rate of 5% for the first six months (now capped at $300), with an annual fee of $99 (current Cardmembers will continue to pay an annual fee of $79). On top of this, the Card still offers an array of benefits that Cardmembers can take advantage of, including:

In addition to the SimplyCash Preferred Credit Card, American Express will continue to offer its no-fee SimplyCash™ Card which enables Cardmembers to earn 5% cash back on all eligible purchases at gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants in Canada (up to $250 cash back) for the first 6 months of Cardmembership. They can earn 1.25% cash back on all other purchases when their Welcome Rate ends.
