TORONTO, Nov. 18, 2011 /CNW/ - On Nov. 21, American Express Canada's Room for Thought program will bring to life a visually stunning, travel-inspired room - representing one of the winning concepts - at Toronto's Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. Media and the public are invited to check out this unique concept by winner Evan Malach alongside his travel and adventure mentor Les Stroud (best known as Survivorman).

The American Express Room For Thought program launched in August and asked Canadians to submit innovative ideas in the categories of community, music and travel and adventure.

On Monday, Malach and Stroud will both be onsite at The American Express Room for Thought to discuss the winning idea, Second Chance Travel. What exactly is Second Chance Travel? Simply put, it provides youth who have experienced hardships a chance to travel the world. Everyone is invited to come down and visit the room inspired by this amazing idea.

WHAT: Interview and photo opportunity with Survivorman Les Stroud, travel and adventure mentor for American Express Canada's Room For Thought program

WHY: To present the winning idea for the travel and adventure category, a youth-focused program titled Second-Chance Travel
