TORONTO, April 3, 2013 /CNW/ - American Express Canada is on the hunt for Toronto's Neighbourhood Gem. Throughout the month of April, the Neighbourhood Gem contest on the American Express Canada Facebook page is encouraging Canadians to crown their favourite local entrepreneur who brings pride and passion to the Toronto community. The Neighbourhood Gem contest supports the launch of the Shop Small, a program designed to celebrate the importance of small businesses.
Facebook fans are asked to show big love for their favourite small business by:
- Choosing their favourite Shop Small business on the Facebook application map.
- Voting once per day for their favourite business from April 2 - 21. Every entry also earns them an entry into a daily draw for the chance to win a $50 American Express® Gift Card.
- Returning back the closing week of April 29 - May 5 to vote from the top five businesses.
The business that receives the most votes will be crowned Toronto's Neighbourhood Gem and will receive a one-on-one social marketing consultation with Facebook Canada and an American Express Advertorial in Toronto Life magazine.
So what is the next step? Join us and vote for your favourite Neighbourhood Gem!
