Samsung Pay now Available in Canada for American Express Cardmembers
TORONTO, Nov. 1, 2017 /CNW/ - American Express announces the Canadian availability of Samsung Pay, a simple, safe and convenient way to make mobile payments on the go. This service is available for eligible Canadian Consumer, Small Business and Corporate Cards issued by Amex Bank of Canada1 and is supported on the Galaxy Note8; Galaxy S8 and S8+; Galaxy S7 and S7 edge; Galaxy S6, S6 edge, and S6 edge+; Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy A5, exclusively in the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store.

Whether it's paying for the tab at lunch or a morning coffee, Cardmembers can simply add their eligible American Express Card to Samsung Pay, exclusively through the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store, to make fast and convenient purchases at American Express accepting merchants. Moreover, this announcement marks the availability of American Express on all three leading mobile wallets in Canada.

How to add an eligible American Express Card to Samsung Pay
- Select the Samsung Pay Icon on your phone and log in with your Samsung account information.
- After you've logged in, choose "Credit cards" and tap "Add a card".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to upload your American Express Card information.
- You're ready to shop with Samsung Pay.
